This awesome display is done to draw attention to the importance of mammography screening for early diagnosis of breast cancer, as well as the research for finding ways to cure and prevent breast cancer.
Social Media is also stepping up to the challenge of raising awareness, enabling millions worldwide to connect with each other, share their battles with Breast Cancer and raise funds for this worthy cause.
One of the most eye-catching and fun social media initiatives involves YouTube. In November of 2009, a video called “Pink Glove Dance” was created with more than 200 hospital employees of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. They were a YouTube smash!!!
